Spider-Man Far From Home Post-Credit scene

Michelle (Zendaya) catches a ride from Spider-Man in Columbia Pictures' SPIDER-MAN: ™ FAR FROM HOME.

The Spider-Man Far From Home credit scenes have HUGE implications for Spider-Man 3, let’s take a look at what happened.

The first Far From Home post credit scene starts off where the movie left, Spider-Man finishes web-swinging with MJ, puts her down and say’s he should probably go. Before he has a chance to movie a big screen starts making an announcement about the events that happened in the movie.

It turns out that Mysterio created a clip using his illusion technology framing Spider-Man for his death and Mysterio goes on to tell the world that Spider-Man is evil.

The Daily Bugle get’s mentioned and JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson is revealed, the same actor who portrayed the character in the original Raimi Spider-Man movies! The audience went crazy and he goes onto speak about how Spider-Man is a menace and killed Mysterio.

Then just as you think it’s all over, J. Jonah Jameson announces there’s one more thing, Mysterio’s clip plays again in which he reveals that Spider-Man is infact Peter Parker with his picture all over the big screen. The scene abruptly ends right after leaving Peter in complete disbelief.

What the Far From Home Credit Scenes Mean:

This is a clear set-up for Spider-Man 3, teasing that the movie will revolve around Peter Parker having to deal with everyone thinking Spider-Man is evil and believing he killed Mysterio who is currently believed to be a hero. Oh and the world also knows that Peter is Spider-Man now. Also J. Jonah Jameson is back!

Talos Captain Marvel Skrull

Post Credit Scene:

It begins with Nick Fury and Maria Hill driving through New York and it’s revealed that the both of them during the entire movie were actually Skrulls. Infact it’s Talos and his wife Soren who both were in Captain Marvel. They’re discussing the events of the movie and how they did their best to help Spider-Man but it was a close call.

They then call the real Nick Fury to let him know how it went. It then cuts to Nick Fury leaving a beach simulation as he is actually in space with more Skrulls in what seems to be a big space station. Fury claps his hands and tells them to get to work.

What it means:

So Nick Fury and Maria Hill were actually Skrulls the entire movie and seem to be working for/with Nick Fury while he’s on a mission in space with the rest of the Skrulls. It seems that Fury and the Skrulls are creating the space base for S.W.O.R.D. who are basically the outer space version of SHIELD. This is also the first FOX product to appear in the MCU.

Could this be the biggest tease for a future Secret Wars event so far? In which it’s discovered that earth has been infiltrated by Skrulls in positions of power all over the planet?
