Heros and Villians:

Sam Wilson/Falcon/Captain America:

We all know a lot about Sam already, but to remind you of where his character is at: He’s been trusted with taking up the mantle of Captain America, Steve gave him his shield and Sam’s likely teaching himself how to honour such a big title.

Bucky/The Winter Soldier/The White Wolf:

We all know a lot about Bucky too, However it will be interesting to see what side of his character we get to see. Steve Rogers is no longer around to keep him company and it seems he may still be haunted by how he was mind controlled in the past.

Isaiah Bradley:

One of 300 soldiers tested on by the government with the ‘super soldier serum’ and briefly took on the role of Captain America, he was later imprisoned for this and his body deteriorated over time due to the side effects of the serum.

Sharon Carter:

We haven’t seen much of Carter aka Agent 13, it will be interesting to see her character return and how she’ll be involved in the MCU going forward. All we know is she was a SHIELD agent.

U.S. Agent:

This is the US Governments choice to replace Captain America, he seems to be more a pin-up boy that focuses on public appearences instead of actually saving the world. It also seems he’s got Sam’s shield, ouch.

Helmut Zemo:

Zemo returns after causing The Avengers to split in Captain America: Civil War. He’s a dangerously clever enemy and will likely be the main villian in the show.

When it’s set in the MCU:

The show’s events occur after Avengers: Endgame, it’s unsure where they will take place in relation to the other Marvel projects being released that year.

What To Expect:

The synopsis is as follows: Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities, and their patience.

The series is definitely set to be a spy -thriller type show that takes the action to various locations.

It’s reported by SlashFilm that the show will focus on Sam initially refusing to take on the role of Captain America, however he later changes his mind when he discovers Isaiah Bradley, a man who was secretly tested on with the super soldier serum and also took on the role of Captain America.

With Sam refusing the role, it seems the government have chosen their own replacement for Steve Rogers and is spending a lot of time doing some classic PR work.

It also seems like Bucky has found Zemo, someone who he’s definitely not keen on after the whole mind control events in Civil War. However, could they instead team up to take on a greater enemy?

What It Means for the MCU:

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will move the MCU forward since the events of Avengers: Endgame.

We get to see how Bucky and Sam are dealing with a world absent of Steve Rogers and how the title of Captain America has been stripped away from Sam.

The show will introduce new characters and explore the MCU even further.

With no full official trailer, there’s little info at this moment. However, make sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram so you don’t miss a thing when it does get announced!
